A Food Handler Program helps new and current food handlers keep up to date on laws and regulations for the county and state where they work. Many states require food handlers to take a Food Handlers Course and pass a test showing you understand food safety.
This Food Handlers course has been developed to meet San Diego County Department of Environmental Health food handler requirements by training experts with the guidance of health department food safety officials, food management professionals and food handlers like you. It is periodically updated to stay current with food codes and to improve quality.
