Responsible Beverage certification meaning

Most workers who serve alcohol either for immediate consumption (e.g., bars, restaurants, tasting rooms, clubs, stadiums, movie theaters, hotels, caterers) or packaged alcohol in stores with 5,000 sf of floor space or less, must have Responsible Vendor training.

Knowledge of alcohol laws can help protect you against legal repercussions and will better prepare you to do your job and serve customers appropriately and safely.

Many different situations can come up while working in a server-seller role, and you might not have the knowledge needed to deal with those circumstances if you didn’t complete the training process
